Bolt- in toyota FJ80 axles for discovery and defender $6500
You read that right.
I am selling my axles from my disco 1. These have about 15k miles on them since built.
FRONT:
Hi pinion FJ80 8" oem 4.10 gears, ARB air locker
REAR:
9.5" full floater FZJ80, disc brakes, oem 4.10 gears, ARB air locker.
Both axles were rebuilt using only koyo bearings, all new toyota factory brake parts, ARB lockers, etc.
The housings were stripped bare of all FJ bracketry and welded smooth. Land rover bracketry was welded on using YRM UK hardware.
These axles will directly replace your original axles with no modifications needed. Bolt in and go. They are designed to fit stock control arms on a 2.5" lift. The caster was corrected when the assembly was welded.
Steering parts are all oem toyota and rover.
This sale will include 18" extended SS brake lines, control arms, and CKMA12 air compressor.
These are in excellent condition and are a very valuable upgrade.
The only separation I will consider is removing the thirds and selling for $4500.
Wheels and tires are also available in the form of (5) Brand new (>100 miles) toyo MT 255/85/16 mounted on 16x7 OEM 4runner alloys with Coyote/Staun inner beadlocks.
$2000 for wheel/tire combo.
I wll also consider selling the complete truck minus engine/trans for $11,000.


Offset with 7"x4.5"BS wheels, 286/75/16 tires and the FJ axles.

The typical D1 owner doesnt wheel their rig hard enough to need them. But you are right, this really isnt a good venue to sell these. thanks for the info!
On another note, the cost of the vehicle is irrelevant. Last I checked, my 1997 D1 SD with a 5 speed was worth -$900 trade in according to KBB. Thats right, Id have to pay the dealer $900 to take my truck.
