Cheap 4.6 D2 motor
I have the secondary air 4.6 out of this 03 D2. Motor was not physically effected by the accident. We could obviously not start this in its current state. Has 113k on it. Oil looks good, motor turns over smoothly. I will take 800 bucks for this shipped to a business. That is around 1000 dollars off what I would charged for it if I had started and tested it. I will still warranty it for 60 days, minus the cost of freight. This is a cheap motor that is most likely fine. Great deal for the right person.

The engine will already be out, doing a headgasket job will never be easier.
Hell, I'd regasket the thing, and slap a new timing set and oil pump gearset in, and new water pump on just for good measure.

The smart money says that you should be doing the headgaskets on a JY Bosch 4.0/4.6 regardless.

Not really, but if you're going to be in there to replace the oil pump gears, why wouldn't you do the timing chain and gears also?

Cheap 4.6
Yes. Direct fit if you have SAI if you don't have SAI you will need to block the ports.
