Not to hijack the sales pitch, but with a 2" lift, what size hi-lift jack should I get? Would a 48" hi-lift jack do it? Guess I'd have to mount it to the basket, but that comes later...

Unless you have a suitable jack point the HiLift isn't going to help much.

GLWTS, the stock bottle jacks are awesome.

I'm planning on getting some rock sliders, so wouldn't either end of the rock sliders be a good jacking point?

You're putting cart before the horse. But yes, sliders are fine for hi-lifts, just have to have sliders first

the bottle jack double extends and has a cradle top to fit the axle, if you are so high it won't get you tire off the ground you can always use a piece of 4x4 under it, i carry some cribbing with me offroading never know what you will need( or someone else will need)

That's what I do. A chunk of 4x4x4 works very well.
