I have a set of tail lights guards available from my 97. It seems they are not really attached well enough to use as an anchor point for a bungee cord, who would have figured that?

The coating is flaking off of some of the pieces but i fgured on getting it all off and repainting them. They are available for a fraction of the price listed above if anybody seriously is intereseted.......

I sincerely apoligize for jacking the thread, that was not my intention. There were multiple people wanting rear guards. So someone please buy his, I am just surprised at the asking price. Does that seem like a fair price for such a small part? Maybe his are in excellent condition and mine are just typical for a 97.

After careful consideration, and to make amends for jacking his thread, I have decided to raise my asking price to $250 for the pair plus $100 for shipping and handling plus a 20% premium to be provided to the Obama Tax Relief Fund. That way his price is a real bargain. I forgot they are for a Land Rover and we all know how expensive and rare those items are.

On second thought, I should have waited to see if anyone was willing to pay 125 and them rush out and yank mine off if more than one party was interested.

Forgive my ignorance. Best wishes to you in your times of despiration. At least neither of us have to worry about our taxes going up under Obama's newest plan.

I just want to make a clarification here. All of the aove commentary was actaully made in jest, it was just my way of humourously saying "What a deal".

It was not an attempt to undercut or otherwise take unfair advantage over our fellow member, just a reality check on the inital asking price. Of course that is none of my business, you may have found my statements humourless, if so I apologize to all parties.

In closing I just want to ask, which was more offensive, my posting or the asking price? (there i go trying to be funny again)

I do not have any tail light guards available at any price, I am sending them to a another well deserving brother and fellow member residing in that lovely paradise
of PR for restoration of his DI.

Collin, I am sorry for that you are in a bind for cash and feel the need to sell your shields at whatever price you feel is appropriate. I realize the originals are no longer produced and you should get whatever price anyone agrees to give you.

Sincerely, have a great day.
