I have a "new" genuine LR D2 guard. It looks like it was an attempted install at one point, but the actually mounting hardware is untouched. Bolts are still in a sealed bag. So I am not sure why the lower most mounting points appear molested slightly, yet the rest looks great. Another oddity is one headlight guard is clearly new, the other looks very used. So I say this guard is new, but its not perfect. And the price reflects that. Two lowest solid metal mount points have slight rust. And the used headlight guard has transferred a little rust onto the coating. There are scuffs, scratches, etc. from being moved around in storage. A cleaning with a fresh coat of paint would do wonders but probably not necessary. Still, this guard is in far better shape that a used one. The only item that appears missing is one of the rubber end caps for the underside.
YOU MUST VERIFY COMPATIBILITY. My understanding is that not all D2 guards are the same. I *think* this one mounts on models up to 2002. After that, I am not sure. Do you by any chance have a photo of the installation instructions? I have the same brush guard and need to adjust the alignment and was curious to see how the factory recommends fitting it.
