Default FS: Disco 1 or 2 F&R Diffs 4.10s w/Detroit Lockers & Rear Tom Woods

Listing for sale my front and rear differentials with 4.10 gearing, front Detroit TrueTrac Locker and rear Full Detroit Locker.

These things are ready to drop in the axle and run.

The gearing backlash was reset on both diffs and I put about 5k miles on since the reset. They ran great although they do have a very slight whine, I assume that's a pretty normal when running F/R Lockers and fulltime 4WD.

Also have a Lucky 8 Tom Woods Rear Drive Shaft, only ran for about 5k miles.

$1,500 for both diffs.
$175 for the rear drive shaft to fit the diff.

Located in Las Vegas but will ship at buyers expense. Could delivery to Phoenix AZ or different parts of Utah.

Still available. Price is OBO. I can ship using Fastenal Freight which should save a few $$ over FedEx/UPS.

This setup is great for those running 33" - 35" tires on a Discovery.

I couldnt send you a PM bc your inbox is full.

See below.

Why are you selling them?
--I sold my 2004 Disco, the new owner bought it for his wife to DD, he wanted the stock gears.

What is the MFG of the gears?
--I dont know, I bought them from Shift (Ben). I just looked on the gears and the only marking I can find says "SC".

When the rebuild was done, who was it by and what was the backlash set at?
--The rebuilds were done by a close friend, diesel mechanic by day, diff rebuilder by night. Although he mostly does diffs for race cars. Backlash is between 8 and 10. Neither of us can remember exactly.

The whining concerns me, as if all of this is unknown then I would be out of pocket $$ to make sure this all is correctly assembled.
--They are assembled correctly, I ran them for almost 6 months to include two trips to Phoenix and a couple trails. MPG was great with 33s, I got 17mpg on my Phoenix trips. The lockers and drive shaft alone would cost over $1500+shipping. This is a smoking deal for anyone who wants gears/lockers.

Are these still available? Were new bearings and seals installed?
