Here is a rear step for the discovery 1. A patented hydraulic gas strut step designed for the Discovery that lowers with the weight of your foot while providing a secure footing on a deeply studded tread. When you step off, it smoothly retracts out of the way until needed again. It is used but in very good shape. This assembly sells for over $300.00 plus shipping.
