I have 2 fiberglass/mdf custom made sub boxes that fit in the side compartments of the trunk area, they are for a single 12" sub each and will support a large sub with 10" of mounting depth. I sold my LR before i finished the boxes, but I would hate to throw them away because there is over $100 in fiberglass and filler into the boxes and hours of time custom fitting, they just need some sanding and maybe another light coat of filler to be totally smooth for paint, or covering in vinyl or carpet. 3/4" mdf substructure draped in polyester fleece from the sub mounting ring to the base, polyester resin and rage gold/kitty hair filler was used for finishing.

^^^ THIS IS NOT WHAT I HAVE but it would be similar when finished, mine isn't flat at the front it curves out to the sub mounting ring so it comes out a little deeper.
