1970 Land Rover Series 2A Runs and Drives great, 4 wheel drive works as it should! 58740 original miles! The frame and bulkhead are in excellent condition. The Land Rover is powered by a 2.5 litre naturally aspirated gas engine with a 4 speed transmission and overdrive (Rover Drive). The Rover has had a new exhaust installed recently, the tires are in great condition. Originally the Rover was painted blue and 90% of the paint has been removed, you can see the original color on the dash. The Rover has the original galvanized grill guard and head light covers it also has tread plate wing-top protectors. The Rover has the much sought after safari top to help keep cool in the summer heat and the rear bumper step. All the lights and wipers work as they should as does the heat! Even the gas gauge works! All the glass is in good condition and operate as they should. I do not believe the Rover needs anything to be your daily driver, it starts up every time (today it is 14 degrees and she fired right up).
