Yes all 2002.5 and earlier D2s have the nipple, just need to add a shifter. I've actually used mine and confirmed it works when I had the driveshaft out during a rebuild.

I see you have another green rover in the background. Is that your new one?
BTW I normally don't like green but I like the Rover in that green. I'm interested in your 2000 but I don't think spending a grand on a Rover that needs and engine and tow home will work for me. PM me with the lowest you will accept and maybe we can make a deal?

Unfortunately I think scrapping it and selling the front bumper to someone else will still net me more than $1k so I think that's the lowest I can go. I really don't want to scrap it though since the body and interior are in such good shape.
And yes that's the replacement, 2001 SE7, heated windows/seats with an ARB bumper

I don't know what scrap yards are paying in your area but here in CT, my local yard is paying$5.50/100 pounds. That translates to somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 for a vehicle that comes in under its own power or is towed in. As far as bumpers go, I sold a perfect one with fog lights for $450 just last week so you're looking at around $700 if you go the route of selling the bumper and scrapping the truck. It's too bad you're over 100 miles away otherwise I'd be sending a flatbed to pick your truck up as I'm typing this. With tolls, gas, time, ect., it's just too far to send my guy.

Yes I really do like the color! Drove up to NH to pick up my second one because I liked it so much.
If the pending deal falls through I may drive it up to you myself! stopping every 20 miles or so to fill it back up with coolant of course.
Though I do have my 1/year AAA 250 mile tow still available...but that would be cheating
