What exactly are the right things maintenance like to do on a 2004 discovery to hit that 300k miles life???

Thanks
Don't start it and flat tow it behind a motor home.

I don't see any tech here so I moved it to the classifieds.

Dexcool? Really?

Do your headgaskets every 120k, flush your rad once a year. Keep an eye on your front DS. These cars are pretty robust. What kills them is sleeves moving which usually happens after the headgaskets go. 300 is probably a stretch but I see them with over 240 all the time.

Any ones with better engine out there I should look for?

ttt fellas. Great reliable truck here! Shoppers are welcome to see her and take her for a ride or a PPI. Folder of maintenance records can be scanned and sent via PDF if needed.

Thanks, Al
