Default FS: Door lock motors, D2 Regular lock

5$ plus shipping from Raleigh, NC
I bought a batch (to meet minimum order amount) of motors to fix my Discovery 2 Door locks which the normal lock failed. These are FC-280PC-22125 Clockwise Rotation motors (the Superlock is CCW), 19mm partially knurlled shaft. You will need to follow the write-up linked in the D2 forum, I think it's for a cooper mini(same lock)

Can these be used to replace both motors in the actuator?

You could but the superlock would operate in reverse.

OK, so I am confused...

these motors only fix 1/2 the problem? or I won’t actually know the problem until I tear it apart and put power to the motors? What if my problem is the “super lock” where do I turn then?

what power will activate the motor? 12v, 6v?

how do I pay you?

These motors fix the problem of the normal lock/unlock not working. If your problem is superlock you need a counter Clockwise motor.

I used a 9v battery on my bench

PayPal, friends/family or add the 3% fee

Superlock motors never wear out because they do not ever get used, it is the brushes in the lock motor that wears out that causes the lock to stop. I find it easier to swap the brush holder/end cap out than to try to get the drive gear off, fwiw.

Yep, $5 a set from the OP - see above Trust me, much easier to change the entire plastic back end of the motor than to try and fool with those tiny brushes in the holder.
