This can be considered preventative maintenance or a repair. If you use your key to lock/unlock your Disco, this is a must.

This pin connects from the key tumbler to the door actuator. If you use your key to lock/unlock the door this pin is prone to break, right at the hole where the roll pin goes through attaching the tumbler to pin.(see where paper clip is pointing).

Yes, being that there is only one key port on the entire vehicle is why having one of these pins fail is such a pain!
