RR 2008MY HSE nav update
Hi,
I've been trawling the net on this subject,
Do you still have the 2011-12 SatNav update available and is it compatible with my RR2008MY HSE
Thanks
Joe

Just to hijack here for a minute.
Everything was working fine and then all of a sudden,
my DVD is coming as "DVD MAP Error" on the Nav screen.
I am hoping this is the disc gone bad?? and not the player under the seat.

Its probably the disc.
A few things you can do to fix it.
1. Take the disk and copy it to a ISO image on your computer. Then burn that image to a blank DVD. Sometimes the DVDs were burned at too high a speed and they can get flacky. Also some DVD players read DVD R+ better than R-. Our Honda Van would never play DVD R+ only would work with R-.
So try both types see which one works better.
2. Put a disk cleaner DVD in the LR3s DVD. Its just a disk with a small brush on it so when it spins it will clean the optics. They are cheap like $3.00 for a disk.
If you need more instructions on how get or do any of the above let me know.
I have that same map disk and on Occasion I get read errors, but its so infrequent I have not bothered to reburn it.

Yes it was the disc.
Don't know why I didn't think of this sooner.
Took the old disc and reinserted it and everything works fine.
Any guarantee on the disc?
