I know it may take longer to find, but when I finally do, it will be that much more satisfying to know I got a great truck and in the color I wanted. That being said, I'm not completely closed off to other colorways if I stumbled across a great one. I'd consider black or white if it was ideal in every other way. Thanks for looking out and let me know if you come across a great Oslo blue beauty!

There is/was an oslo blue d2 in NC on craigslist for the last several weeks. Looked in great shape, lots of new parts, but I think it had a heating issue.
Let me look and see if I can find it.
I'll post a link if I do.

I have a beautiful '03 SE in Oslo blue with black leather. It has 86K miles on the odometer. The truck is immaculate but the engine overheats. I also have a Java black '03 that was has been owned by the same family since new. It's a little worse for wear but still quite nice considering the mileage. It has a nice 4.6L engine that was installed roughly 100K miles ago. I should have all the documents on the work that was done. I got a binder with the truck with the FSH and it must be 4 inches thick. The family didn't really spare any expense on the truck until the frame started to rust through in the back.

Combine the two and you're close to your dream truck. I have most of the interior trim to convert to Alpaca. The truck was an S model so the seats were done in Alpaca leatherette and the driver's seat has a rip. If you could live with black leather, the low mileage interior is exceptional. It even has the Becker navigational ICE.

As luck would have it, I have found the truck I am looking for in Denver with low miles (65K). However it falls in that 03 bad oil pump VIN range that's been discussed a bit on this forum. Wondering if at 65K miles and no problem yet how safe it is to say this one won't grenade? Is it even worth the risk?

Yeah, an oil pump is cheap, and easy to install.

Yeah it is worth the risk. Just throw in a new oil pump. Easier said than done, but definitely doable. Alex_M made a great write-up on oil pump and timing chain replacement on his '03.

I've got an Oslo blue 03 SE7 in Boston that has 113k about. Head gaskets done, tom woods greasable drive shaft. Brakes recently done too, and new AT2 grabber tires. Needs headliner and has some rust on rear wheel wells. Drivers seat has a rip, otherwise pretty darn nice. Tan.

Perfectly fine as is, throw a bit of cash or elbow grease into it and you'll have a great truck.
