NEW Heavy Duty Front Driveshaft Propeller (Generation II) for Land Rover Discovery Series 2 II.

I purchased this a month ago for my DII, from British Parts of Utah.

My DII now has a cracked block
Never installed- trying to recoup some cash for another vehicle purchase.

So is there a reason it won't fit on a D1? Isn't it essentially the same set up?

 

It's a different (and worse) design- the D2 i mean
