Old Man Emu Heavy Duty Springs. $150 Picked Up
I just replaced my suspension, my shocks were gone and the HD ride was too bumpy for me.
Here's the deal, I measured all the springs and compared them to when they were new. I put about 3,000 miles on them, unknown history before that. Before I installed them I had them sandblasted, primed, and painted the blue color they are now.
All numbers calculated from Expedition Exchange
Front HD Springs
1)Driver side. 387 mm compared to 390 mm brand new.
2)Passenger side. 380mm compared to 380mm brand new.
Rear HD Springs
1)Driver side. 419 mm compared to 420 mm brand new
2)Passenger side. 406 mm compared to 410 mm brand new.
Are they sagging? I don't know, you decide, I don't have a ton of experience. I will ship them on buyer's dime. I'll just reuse the Terrafirma packaging my new stuff came in last week.
Keep in mind, one millimeter is equivalent to 0.1 centimeters.
Thanks for looking.
