The engine is out of a 2000 disco with secondary air 4.0l V8. This is a professionally remanufactured engine. Comes Complete from Plenum to Oil Pan, does not include accessories such as AC Compressor, Alternator, Power Steering Pump, & Starter. as stated above this is a REMANUFACTURED engine, so all new bearings, crank and cam shaft checked, new piston rings, balanced pistons and rods, crank balanced & polished, new timing chain, new oil pump, and over course new gasket set (includes head gasket). The engine originally had ~77k miles on it at the time of rebuild.
We rebuilt the engine to install in a rover with a blown engine or something, but since the economy is down, we don't have the extra cash for that venture.

I hate to get rid of it, but desperate times.....

Sorry to hear about that. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the gasket set? Is there any warranty transferrable with the engine? Thanks.

 

There is a warranty through z street rods, 3 month 3,000miles. I don't remember what gaskets and bearings we used, but i'll get back to you. It was built for me, so it was the high dollar stuff. I'll let you know
