Update 5/16/15 - Sold the rack to a dude with a Disco 2 for $650. Sold the 96 Discovery later for $2,600... the guy was very excited... loved it. It was hard to find the right kind of person to appreciate the manual transmission and all. Later I got a 2001 Isuzu Trooper which the wife drives, but I miss the Disco. It gave me a certain level of confidence in any weather and any road surface. I could blast though any potholes, or construction, or whatever without fear. Now, with the Trooper, I feel the need to be more careful for some reason.
