I'm confused...
I'm in the market for an LR3 HSE, and have been looking at 2007 and 2008's. Every car with this mileage and condition is priced well above $19,000...so for you to sell this at $16,000 seems like a steal. However, I find it even *more* striking that its listed here on a Land Rover forum, at this price, and no one has swiped it up yet. Is there something I'm missing? Does this car have an accident reported on the title, or is there something major in terms of service that it needs? If not, then one could logically deduce that not even current Land Rover enthusiasts would buy *another* Rover...not even at this low of a price. Pardon my ignorance, but what am I missing here?
Thank you in advance, and good luck with the sale. I only wish you were closer to the East Coast, I'd come look at it.

Also, Most guys on the forums are looking for a "steal" deal with the thought of buying one that needs work and bringing it back to life. Check KBB.com for price comps, that should put you in the right direction.

$19,000 for a used LR3, BB is substantially less? Also given the maintenance cost of these things and depreciation of a truck near 100K miles, 19k is way too high. You have to remember that this is not a cheap recreation we are into here!

There is a pretty nice White/Black 2008 HSE with about 81,350 miles on it at a specialty (non Land Rover) dealer near me. Looks nice, dealer claims it has been "serviced" even if I suspect its just been through an Oil Change, but it has a clean Carfax and they are asking $19,995. I realize this is too much, but what is a "good" price for something like this?

Are you still looking for a 2007 LR3 HSE?

Yes! I am still looking! I've been trying to sell my current car before buying an LR3, or looking at dealerships where I could trade-in.
I have a 2007 BMW 530i Sport Sedan, Black with Grey interior, 6-speed manual, and literally every option available - including Night Vision! Heated front and rear seats, steering wheel, illuminated door sills, navigation, etc., etc. three sets of wheels, full service records. Its a lot of fun, and I've been an enthusiast of European sport sedans, but I'm getting a little older and wanting an SUV with the capabilities that Land Rovers offer.
Make me an offer!
