Selling 2001 LR Disco II, Heavily Modified, $9500
I have owned 4 wheel drives of all kinds most of my life. This one, without question has been the most ridiculously capable one I have ever owned. The suspension upgrades alone are worth as much as the selling price.
The Specs:
4.0 V8 with a new top end. I have receipts.
Automatic Transmission
Air Conditioning
Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes
Fully loaded, all options available with this model including dual sunroofs.
Kent Green Exterior, Light Tan Leather interior
Hill Descent Control
Upgrades:
Rovertym 4" Suspension Lift
Detroit TrueTrac Locking Differentials front and rear with 3.90 R/P from Great Basin Rovers.
Rebuilt custom serviceable front driveshaft.
Rebuilt rear driveshaft
Stainless Steel extended brake lines
Bilstein 7100 Remote Reservoir Shocks
EBC Brakes
285x75x16 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain KM2
The Series 1 Discovery's originaly had a Center Locking Differential, for the Series 2, Land Rover decided to remove it. This one has had it reinstalled with original cable driven shifter and components.
Also has Tow Package, Heated seats, ABS, Traction Control, A.C.E. (Active Corning Enhancement, which also aids in off-road use by acting as a sway bar disconnect for maximum articulation)
Safari Roof Rack (camel trophy style)
C.B. Radio
It just turned 180,000. I have had all the usual problem areas on Discovery's addressed. I put in a new top end on motor (receipts), and I had the "3 Amigo" sensors replaced (ABS, TC, and HDC)(receipts)
This has been a very loved Disco and has been nothing but good to me. It has been meticulously maintained by local Land Rover mechanic. I will give his phone number on request.
It will conquer all with extreme prejudice.
P.S. shovel included
