I have some friends who need some soon resources and so have for sale their toy. This is a 1971 Land Rover Series IIa 109. It may look ragged in the pictures, but has no corrosion as it is all Aluminum. When they bought it it had had the engine redone; they drove it home from Minn. Since then, they have replaced the wiring with a stock harness. Recently they have redone the brakes. The one anomaly is the gearbox now seems stuck in, I think, 2nd gear. The whole drive train can be lifted out of inside with an engine hoist if it's necessary. We were going to pull the gearbox top cover (accessible inside) and it might be just shift forks.
If you've ever wanted one, this has had almost all the mechanical stuff upgraded and just needs some finish and upholstry.
It would be just as easy to make an offer thru me and I'll pass them on. Can be seen by appointment. If you're trigger wasn't tripped by this, please think who you could pass it on to. Appreciate the consideration. Art
