I know it's a long shot... I have two D2s. One with an OEM rack and one with a brand new BajaRack. I think I prefer the OEM rack, aesthetically, even though it's less functional - OEM lacks the cross bars that the BR has, making lashing more challenging. Anyway, on the off chance someone is looking to upgrade to a BajaRack for overlanding and has an OEM rack in good shape, I'd love to trade. Willing to drive a bit for this too.

hahaha... the trade didn’t go though. A couple folks thought I was referencing the cross bars that go across the stock roof bars.
