The Garvin Wilderness roof rack is a little rough with some rust around the edges but with a little work, will quickly reveal that it has many years of good use ahead of it. It comes with the mounts to secure the rack to the roof rails. It was originally on a '95 LWB but will work on either LWB or SWB. Its 60"x60" and had a relatively low profile when installed. This is the earlier version of their Wilderness roof rack, not the current "sport" version.

Come on up to the northwest corner of CT and enjoy the Litchfield hills. The leaves will be peaking within the next two weeks. Bring your favorite single malt(s) and leave with a roof rack. I like the peaty Islay whiskies but am open to anything you find particularly interesting.

 

Find me one for a D2 and I'll bring you a nice, briny Caol Ila.

 

You might be able to buy taller mounts from Garvin that would enable this rack to be used on a DII.

As far as the Caol Ila, now you're talkin'.

 

Sold on eBay for a couple of hundred dollars. I guess I'll just by my own whisky.

 

Ack, sorry. I've been so busy lately that I never even looked into getting other mounts.
