Looking for a 99-02 RR 4.6 or a decent LR 4.6 both with secondary Air injections. mine has dropped a sleeve, or has a cam issue.

Diagnose the problem. You should take it apart and see what the problem is. If its the cam, you can save time and money vs replacing it with an used motor. I am rebuilding my heads and installing ARP studs, Crower 53229 cam and lifters, timing chain and gears, oil pump gears and water pump for around $1K.

Did you end up getting another engine or rebuilding your other one? If you replaced it, did you do the swap yourself and how did it go?

 

Block was honed and decked. Heads were reconditioned. $2000 worth if new parts from PT Schram. Should be back together in the next week or two. Oil pump was in 3 pieces, bearings were shot, cam was rough. Also adding an oil cooler. Liners were all intact.
