He didn't get ripped off to my knowledge. He got stuck manning the Bottorf booth at the 2010 LRNR. A booth with no product. It was pretty much Mike and his truck left to answer a bunch of questions about what Nate's deal was.

Oh, and x3 on RovahFarm. Especially since BP is gone.

I'm feeling wiser by the minute for not diving in. I was a rch from pulling the rip cord until Josh posted up. Now this info just drives it in further although way old news.

I know Bill's eyeballs are happy with Rovahfarm. It's different to have a choice on price although most of us know the difference in quality......get by parts vs get it right.

...just to close my mini dilemma, i ordered the parts from Randy at RoverBones/British Boneyard. Paul was out but I picked the AC control switch off him.

I have used Paul and love the service. That being said I was stuck in Santa Fe at Christmas with a broken axle. After installing the new axle assembly from AB the test drive turned up a bad ABS sensor. Lincoln had the sensor at a great price. I WAS ON THE ROAD THE NEXT DAY. Additionally, my mother (97 disco SE) got a great deal on a rear bumper. I've done business with many of the vendors listed on this thread and have been happy each time. I've also had many transactions with Lincoln in the past. His business model is somewhat confusing at times. His heart seems to be in the right place and his service has always been satisfactory if not better. He is remains on the short list when I need a part.
