D1 seat suspension wanted
#4
Is it for the '95 in your sig block?
For those who don't know, the suspension piece is the same for driver or passenger seats. The 94-95 suspension piece is different from the 96-99 piece. But, you can take a 96-99 and swap out four of the eight hooks (from your busted one) to make it work on the 94-95. Not sure I've seen a 94-95 electric seat in the 'yards, but the 96-99 electric seats have an all rubber suspension which does not work (without seat frame modifications) on a manual seat (which is webbing and two rubber strips on either side).
I'm not a fan of using a replacement which is not designed to give (like canvas, etc.).

It is for the 95. I tried doing a gorilla tape repair and it lasted for a few days. I didn't wrap it all the way around, trying to keep a little give with the one still good rubber strip. But once it got cold it gave way. I might have to dig out some 550 cord and give that a try. Has anybody ordered or tried the one exmoor has, they sell through lucky8 it looks like.
