Default Looking for a brush guard/bar

Hey guys, looking to use a little bit of income tax money to do an upgrade or two to the car. Taking it to an exhaust shop to get a little better sound, and getting my front windows tinted finally. This car isnt used for off roading in the sense you guys use them. I have some property which i shoot on that i have to access with my rover. it can get REALLY muddy and nasty but im never really going through brush or anything serious. yea, im a wimp. I am curious what A-bar or brush guard you guys would recommend. Id like to eventually mount some small lights on it. Not looking to spend a whole lot. Atlantic British doesnt really have much, and im not above buying used. Anything else that you guys would do to a daily driver is also a welcome suggestion. Id like to eventually try 'off roading' but for now its just mainly for looks FOR NOW.

Do brush guards and bars have anything to do with insurance? ive heard rumors of liability and such..

Thanks guys,

Chris

If you have a D1 and are willing to drive, take it. Free. Ok... maybe a 6-pack of decent beer.

Justin

I'm in Frederick MD

Digging around, looks like you've got a DII. I'll grab my brother's truck and see what is needed to make it fit. IIRC the frame width/mounting points are different between the two.

I have a nice ARB front bumper and would highly recommend purchasing one. You get what you pay for and this bumper is very very rugged!

They're close I think. I haven't had the chance to check them out yet... but I will very soon and let you know. Sorry for the wait... been busy with some Army training.
