I'm looking for a fairly priced Range Rover classic, no year model or wheelbase preferred. I would love one with a manual gearbox, but not necessary. I sold my Disco 1 5spd about a year ago, and have missed it since. Have always loved Rangies and have experience working on the disco. Looking for a mechanically sound truck, high mileage is not an issue. Cosmetics aren't as important as I'll be using it regularly, and hopefully restoring and doing a diesel conversion down the road. Budget is around $3k, located in Auburn, AL

A five speed Range Rover Classic is going to be hard to find, especially for around $3K. Rover never imported a manual transmission equipped Range Rover into this country. Anything you're likely to find will be either a conversion using DI parts or a grey market Range Rover from before 1986.
