Refresh my memory, how is the '95 cover different than the '94/'95 DI? I may have one off a RRC but know for sure I have one off my old '94 DI. I'm literally scratching my head to remember any differences but am drawing a blank. I'll rummage around the shelves and see what I can find. I'll get back to you later.

my Understanding is 95 is the only year that ran a distributor and the new style oil pump in the front cover, the others ran the pump off the distributor shaft. I also think 95 was the only serpentine belts model also. But i will defer to your expertise

Ok, I scoured the shelves and found plenty of GEMS Di and P38a engine covers, a lone RRC cover for '94 and earlier and one DI cover for a 14CUX. The casting number on the cover is HE1310074. I'm racking my brains to think of any differences between the DI and '95 front cover and can't think of any.

Is your front cover off the engine? Can you check the casting number on the front of it. It would be just below the water pump. The '94 and '95 DI's used the distributor and had the newer style oil pump with one of the oil cooler lines attaching to the bottom of the front cover. I'm going to look into this a little further but I believe this cover is the same as what was used on the RRC.

BTW, DON'T look on eBay. I just did a quick search using HE1310074, the casting number, and found two different front covers. One, clearly for a GEMS engine and the other for a 14CUX. I don't know what these sellers are thinking. I tried to let them know. We'll see if they correct their listings. It's sellers like that who **** me off. They don't know jack about Rovers. People buy from them, thinking they do and get ****ed.

The original part number was ERR6814. Atlantic British, Rovers North and even the local dealer all say this part is compatible with all serpentine 3.9L and 4.2L engines. So, I do have what you're looking for. I'll PM you the details.
