I own a 1978 Land Rover Series 3 Troopie. It has a 6 cylinder engine with a Salisbury differential currently. I am searching for a new/used transfer case gear kit for this particular landy. My mechanic and I have searched at length to locate one, however have been unsuccessful. I am in Melbourne, Victoria and was wondering if anyone had one for sale or could lead me in the direction of finding one. I am out of options and would appreciate any suggestions. Happy to organise transport for those located outside of Victoria.

If you are ok shipping from wherever, I'd check with ashcroft in the UK. Their website shows all of their series stuff sold out, but they might be able to direct you to some sources.
