Im needing a used hood in Alveston Red with good paint... my clear is coming off and looks BAD! lol trying to avoid repaint if i can get a good hood for less... dang Is there a way to edit the heading on this? lol

 

I've got some really nice hood blackouts we had made on special for forum members if you were interested in going that route?

 

are you talking about the vinyl center sections? my clear is just slowly turning to rubble and its past that section .. i considered putting that over but now its most of the hood... my rood is doing same

 

well I picked up a nice black hood locally for $150! I'm going to put on my disco! it should give it kind of a 2 tone effect with the Alveston red body and blacked out wheels! cross fingers! lol Ill send a pic when its up... I also bought one of those small 2.5" bull bars you bolt to the factory bumper for adding 2 more bar lights ... i think I have to take off entire front bumper though so we will see... lol I need change the wiper fluid motor and hoses in there anyway lol

 

I think that works. That A-bar will help but the black wheels and roof rack do the most in balancing the tone. There is a company that specializes in manufacturing plasti-dip and I will bet that the red could be matched by them to spray the black hood at some point. Or at least the outer edges and leave the black exposed in the center
