Now that one of my kids has turned 16 and will be learning to drive in the Disco 2, I'd like to add a little bit of protection to the front end to save the car from shopping carts and other minor damage. I'm not ready for the full steel bumper replacement yet.

If any one had either the metal or foam grill/brush/nudge bar for the D2 like the ones pictured below, I'm in the market. I need to keep the costs down, so if it needs paint or is less than perfect that's fine with me.

Where are you located? I have one thats not in great shape but is functional.

 

note that the mounting hardware is essentially unavailable. i tried asking a number of people here and in various other places, and ordering from several places in the u.k. that listed the parts as available. none of them were able to supply them. john craddock eventually came through with a set of just the main brackets but i had to pay extra for them. in all they cost me as much as the brush guard itself.
