I just finish changing my cam bearings and was in the process of buttoning up everything. Engine was back in and exhaust hook up. The only thing remaining was the oil cooler lines, uppper/lower radiator hose, radiator fan, coolant and battery. In the process of attaching one of the oil cooler line to the front cover, I over tighten the fitting and cracked the cover.

So here I am, searching for a used cover. I do not need the oil pump gears because I already have a set of new gears. The only thing I request is to make sure the inner portion of the cover where the gears ride is not gouged or adnormally worn. This will require removing the gear retaining plate and gears in order to inspect the inner portion of the cover. Removing the 9 phillip heads screws can be a challenge, but considering how common low oil pressure is with our Disco's, it's vital for me to see close-up view of the covers inner portion.

I've attached a pic of the inner portion of the cover. This was my cover when I had everyting apart. Oil sludge I'm not concern about, that can be cleaned.
