Hi All, new to land rovers but I've been doing research and settled on wanted an LR3. Went to pick one up from a dealer yesterday and got a PPI... needed 4k work of repairs.
Didn't turn out well and left without a vehicle.
Looking for a late model LR3 or LR4 with supporting maintenance records.
I was trying to stay under 100K miles so it gives me some time before major work.
Located in Md.

Good job so far. 90% of people wouldn't do a PPI and wouldn't walk away.

Keep at the same thing, if a car needs $4k in repairs try cutting the price by $4k. Best bet try finding private sale ads, autotrader, car gurus, autotempest stuff for owners selling their family car. Much better than the dealerships flipping them.
