Yes, I am familiar with the Disco II rental Nanocom thread. I guess my preference would be:

1. To buy my own unit. I feel I can probably benefit from more than 5 days of use!
2. If I am not going to buy a unit, borrowing one from someone local (perhaps with payment in the form of a case of beer or a nice bottle of Bourbon,) so that I can make a local friend out of the deal too!
