Hi all. New to Forum. I am embarking on what some would consider a financially foolish project of restoring my 1995 Disco. Original Owner. Only 84K mi. Engine runs great, but much of the electrical is SNAFU.

Unable to get in and out easily without running boards. I no longer go offroad, so don't need rock sliders or anything fancy. Undercarraige brackets appear to be fine, so don't need them, but, the boards (actually, just the drivers side) and the attached brackets have rusted through. I like the originals as they are all black.

I am in Western NC.
