I had the pleasure of going through Bill's trail leader training course a couple weeks ago. Really great guy. There was a CT poster in his garage with him on it.

That was a neat video - thanks for posting. Wish I had more time to watch more of them. I had no idea, nor never considered, what people went through just to make the cut for those competitions.

Reminded me of military basic training.

During that training class I mentioned, Bill did mention some of the actions displayed in that (and likely other) CT event which he currently does not condone. The really blatant one is hanging onto a vehicle to add ballast - good way to get yourself hurt if you get tossed should it go over.

I also noted a couple of times where someone was on the "bad" side of a vehicle in a precarious position. Not a good place to be unless you want to get crushed if things go from bad to worse.

 

I totally agree with that.
I'm sure those guys did it because they didnt know better or they were desperate.

Hey Spike how much do you pay per month for the HBO GO thing? I downloaded that app and it says something about having a HBO subscription. Regarding the unlimited data plan, I pay just $45 per month for unlimited calls/text and data - on my iPhone 4! Just buy a straight talk $45 unlimited plan, and a micro sim card for your smartphone $14.99 and activate it and your golden!

 

I have a HBO subscription at home, it is like $15 a month on my cable bill.
As for the cell phone plan, I have a family plan.
