That truck has never been off road, I don't care what the ad says. The paint is in way too good condition to have been off road. Another of the many Discos running around Denver that they wanted to look like they off road but afraid to scratch the paint.

Well I wheel, I get VERY scratched up thanks to thorn bushes and branches...but I always do a "clear coat safe scratch remover and wax combo" after the ride and it does a good job of making look nice. but i agree, it looks too nice... maybe he never got it through some thick brush to get the scratches the rest of us have.

Here in Colorado where wheeling involves lots of rocks while climbing the side of a mountain even a good wax/scratch remover isn't going to cover that well. A lot of the tough trails here are also lined by close trees that like to reach out and leave their mark on paint. That's the reason I refused to do anymore with my paint than enough to prevent rust. Why dump the money into a paint job just to beat it up.

Yeah I agree. I don't bother with anything more than the wax/polish job. I don't believe a rover should be in pristine condition...if it is, its under the wrong hands...

I didn't see that at first, glad you mentioned it! Seriously laughed out loud at this ad!
