I'm assuming that most Rover (disco owners) on this forums are outdoors"y" people? Continuing with that assumption I would like to extend an invitation for camping and, most importantly, rock climbing at City of Rocks, NM state park over the weekend of Oct 31st. There is going to be a bouldering festival so there will be lots of people, lots of climbing, and, if you're into it, lots of partying.

PS, I am sure there are probably trails in the area, but rock climbing in this instance refers to human rock climbing (in this case, bouldering) vice rock climbing in your rover.

Im up in east Tennesee in Pigeon Forge. I used to go down to north georgia alot but I haven't met any climbers since moving here. While you are in the "area" you should check out horsepens 40. I think it is in alabama but it has the craziest slopers anywhere. The best time to go is in the winter when you can really stick to the rocks. http://www.drtopo.com/guidebooks/usa/Alabama/2. There are lots of other areas that are really cool including southern illinois although that would be quite a haul from florida. Give me a shout when you are there if you want to come up and climb!
