Default FREELANDER HDC ENGAGING when climbing

I wonder if someone can help me with this problem. I have an automatic 2001 Freelander V6 3-door. In the morning after starting my vehicle, I reverse out of my porch and go down my driveway. At the bottom I stop before turning left and immediately go into a climb and within seconds, the orange Hill Decent Control light comes on and the vehicle begins to climb the hill in emergency mode (I think 4th gear). When I reach the top of the hill, I stop the vehicle and switch off. After restarting, the HDC light goes out and the vehicle goes well, till the next morning. Once even the TC light came on. When I kick down. (like overtaking a heavy vehicle on a hill) the vehicle starts to shudder. and the rev counter goes up but the vehicle does not kickdown. It's like the brakes are being applied. I have taken the vehicle the LR agents and they ran computer diagnostics and cleared faults but nothing sorted out. Two gearbox specialists have driven vehicle and say that vehicle changes gears OK after stopping and starting
I would appreciate any advice on the matter. Thanks for your help in advance. [/align]
