I've used Rent-A-Wreck before!! Great agency, who needs to rent a brand new car? A used one works just fine.

By the way on your way down to Keywest you will be going through Marathon Key. Herbies is on the right. That has to be the best seafood I have ever had. The menu tells you how they prepare it, like blackened, fried, whatever. The fish is just what they bring in on any given day.
The inside of the restaurant is like three porches, and you sit on picnic tables and benches.
Also, be sure to see Key Deer running around no-name key. (Good little pub tucked back there off the road with killer pizza). Don't feed the deer though, they have crazy fines.

Definitely eat at Herbie's. It looks like a sh*thole, but the food is awesome. No-Name pub is a good place.

Also, I've rented cars in FL quite a bit. I use costco codes, lately they're even better than the gov't ones I used to use. I just paid $80 through Alamo for a week in San Diego
