so i came across this. will be made in limited edition - benz SL.

i knew i wasnt crazy, flat black is the new black.

I've heard the same is said for dress shoes... I like the look and have always wondered why every new car is shiney.

shiny cars are distracting as they reflect light. not to mention the latest and greatest batmobile was flat black.

+1 CAM!!! that is sweeeet! i don't like how they painted the rims though they look too shiny. that is one sweet disco man... too bad the snorkel is facing the wrong direction.

that's the high performance Ram Air edition.

this is interesting as i am considering painting my 18" wheels black because since i bought my rover and have been off roading it the last 16months the wheels are beat to hell and scuffed and scratched and gouged. in some places down to yellow alloy. so i was thinking of painting them semi gloss black or flat black with a clear over it.
