Default H3T??

I was looking at vehicles and ran into the new H3T adventure as well as the H3 adventure. With the adventure pkg they come with front and rear lockers and are runnning on 33" tires
the Past Hummers were not to impressive but this has cought my eye. Mabie I will have to repace my truck for one? "not the LR" the new H3 has got to be verry trail worthy. Anyone else looked at one? Obveously we are all biased to an extent and I am by no way knocking my LR and I love it but the new hummer3s are sick.

The biggest issue I see with buying a Hummer right now is the fact the Hummer may go under soon. GM has threatened to shut down Hummer multiple times and with the way things are going now, it may not to be long before the Hummer Company is no more. How will that effect Hummer Owners? I guess we will have to wait and see.

But I do like the looks of the new H3T, i just dont know if I could convence myself to ever buy one!

i have heard the H3 is powered by a weak 5 cylinder engine...

also fit n finish on GM products is generally deplorable

If you wanna see a good lookin truck, go look at the new cadillac escalade truck.
It wont go anywhere off-road but it sure looks good!
I would buy one in a heartbeat if I had the money.

I actually leased an H3 for 2 years and can tell you I personally had zero problems in those two years and 22,000 miles. The 3.7 is definitely weak, but the H3 Alphas are outfitted with the 300 HP V-8's and are capable powerplants. Mine was loaded with the Luxury Package and Adventure Package including XM, Nav, Side Curtain Airbags, etc and I found it quite comfortable on and off road... even on long highway trips. I put some 33 x 12.50 Toyo Open Country MT's on it, raised the torsion bars, and aligned it... and found it to be very capable off road, not to mention fun.

Anyway... just wanted to give you a little perspective from probably one of the few ex owners of one of these here on this board. The H3T would be equally as fun and reliable as the regular H3 like I had I imagine. Good luck with whatever you decide...

Chris
