Default How to not drive in the snow!

So me and my friend went to go mess around in the new snow fall this past weekend and I went through one of the scarriest moments of my life when my 94 disco almost rolled down a 40 ft hill but a lonely stump saved my life, my rover and my two friends from any injury!

How it happened: Driving about 10mph around a left hand turn, rear wheels slide out, I let go of the gas and turn right to straighten out, rear wheels slide across the back and car is now sliding side ways towards the hill. Rear end slides off the road and front wheel runs into a stump that stops the whole car from rolling over... Luckily the car sustained no damage other than a blown headlight bulb from the impact. Rescue involved $170 worth of tow straps and snow chains, my buddies disco, and a very elevated heart rate!

Good luck to everyone out there during this winter season and stay safe guys! Remember to take it easy on everything! Gas and brake especially

WOW! Look at that first photo and the rear wheel. That tire is trying so hard to come off the rim! Glad you are okay.
