Default I'm thinking about it

Found this ad on Land Rover Exchange today, its only about a 4 hour drive for me.

Advertisement to SELL; Product: PARTS; Price: $3,800.00; (Currency: CAN Dollars)
300 TDI with auto gearbox
Turn your Disco into a lean mean driving machine with a 300 TDI conversion. Everything needed to do the conversion included, starter, turbo, wiring harness, rad intercooler,cross-member,matching automatic transmission, ect. Comes with new timing belt installed. This entire kit is what some are charging for just the motor. Price is a pick-up price, 1 hour North of Toronto. Delivered to US or in Canada $4,200 for both engine and autobox. . Mike 705 435 7526

Your considering the conversion for your Disco? Never would have expected that from you lol. How's yiur 200k engine doing anyways? Its been awhile since we had any update about your Disco.

Can you afford another Discovery? Maybe find one with a blown motor and slap the diesel in it. I'd hate for you to do the swap on your current motor. You should see how long it will last. It's testament to what a Disco should be!.

My engine is still going as strong as ever.
My thoughts were to buy the TDI and trans and save them for later.
IF I were to buy it then I would stop changing the oil on my truck and just drive it until it let loose, then drop the diesel in.
