I try to do all my work on the LR but I do have two Volvos that are in need of work once in a while. I've been using East University Imports, but you guys are much closer. Got an addy or phone number?
yup, its AA Yellow -- you can't miss it and we take it all over town so if you're out and about i'm sure you'll spot us. that is the primary towing/parts runner.

I have seen that Rover before..... I agree about not having a marked building in drake... Do you have a fence around the lot so nothing gets stolen at night?

no, but i wish we did. some hoodlums tried to smash out the passenger window in the vitesse with a brick a few weeks back.

thanks to the triplexxx glass, they failed!

Explain what triplexxx glass is. I have it in my rover. Is it break resistant or something?

triplexxx glass is triple laminated so its a lot stronger than standard automotive glass, and also a lot quieter -- its also one of the rover's best anti-theft security features. it also resists chipping better than standard glass, which is why most windshields on LRs aren't pitted all that bad even with age and higher mileage compared to a lot of other vehicles.

today i finally found a really cool trail to drive on in my range rover while me and my buddy were out and about. a very accessable and open abandoned rail road track just north of des moines

Look at the branches on that bridge... THEY ARE WAY UP!! Talk about a stream that can become as deep as the great lakes!! lol Well maybe not that deep but you get it.

so we took the vitesse out last night to do some exploring and apparently some gravel roads arent gravel roads at all... apparently they are meth lab hot spots and my 1/150 vitesse 1/<75 in AA Yellow, range rover "fits the description of a suspicious vehicle used in these drug runs on prior occasions" my response was merely, "really? in yellow?"

so anyway... if your out roving around looking for some good level Bs and whatnot, be prepared to "look suspicious" as you dont really have a destination and cops in these parts are CLEARLY bored...

so 3 1/2 hours of relentless searching has yielded amazing finds. i now possess maps of all level b, c, and unrated roads in polk and surrounding counties.

the fun starts tonight

Wow it is nice to see all of the LR owners here in Iowa, I truly thought it was a very scarce community..

I'm taking my 92 RRC to the event along with Lindy.

-Lindy, much thanks for the referral!
