need to do some measuring of the footwell when i get home. if i can build a storage area into the footwell i will see if i can get a full size to fit in there if not i will go with a tri fold like that one.

Check out the MaxIt kit. We got issued them with our humvees and they work fairly well. The basic idea is a fullsize fiberglass handled ax with attachment point and pin assembly to make it into a shovel, entrenching tool, spike, rake, and whatnot. The items cone in a ballistic nylon case. It sounds more complicated than it is. they are pricey new ~$300 bur I have seen them at surplus store for around $50. I will try to post pic next. I love mine

sorry it is MaxAx and can be found at www.maxax.com. the one shown is a fire service tool in red but mine is in a nice military green that just happens to match my rover
