A friend of my wife posted pic's on her Facebook wall, they had "thunder snow and lightning" (yes that is a real thing) and they are going to a friends house who has a generator because they have no power and it will be out for hours maybe days.
I cant wait to move up there.

well we have no power for hours and days. we also have flooding, lots of sand and hilly terrain. no snow, and definitely no snowy thunder but with global warming we may get some in our lifetime. and our roads are like moon craters and we have plenty of zombies. just saying.

They got 18" of snow in 5 hours.
They are only 150 miles from me, and we have no snow.

OH JOY! At 4 am winter storm warnings! GETTING BETTER! At 9 am 4 inches and falling fast! OH DAM! 1500 48f and you might find some snow left under a tree. 60f tomorrow. Think I will open the pool, or occupy something.
