Before replacing my PS hoses, I used to refill the reservior every time I drove the D1. So after replacing my PS hoses, I have gone a week and still have a full reservior. I'm happy, and so is the wife.

Installed a new window ECU, removed the bypass wire and now everything works as normal. PHEW!!!

Also...installed the roof rack, not the ladder yet.

@Rob,
I am fairly new, but am in the market for a rack. Since you have owned so many, I figure you must be the authority on them.
I have an 04 Disco II and like the rack you Boomed over.
What is the model number? Where did you order it? Why is it the best one you've had?
Thanks for any help you can lend.

Authority, I am not, but I have had some experience with different racks in the past few years.

Sent you a PM before I saw this : I assume I was "booming" about my SD rack which I found on Craigslist. It was made by a company called Safety Devices which the last I heard no longer operates in the US, or at least no longer makes racks for Discovery's. Great looking rack, but extremely noisy compared to my previous safari basket.

You'll have to find on Craigslist, or you could try Welcome to Rover Racks for a pretty good clone. I've heard some bad things about their customer service though....

If I could recommend a rack, it would be one from Baja Rack.(Baja Rack)

I was suffering from a what appeared to be a misfire at idle for around a month now. On Monday I put in new Bosch Iridium plugs, didn't fix it. Today I tore the throttle body off and gave it a bath along with the Intake Air Control Valve, which was simply jamming a rag in the valve as far as I could get it. I don't think they come apart for proper cleaning. I also did the Seafoam smoke show (induction cleaning). Holy buckets, to say it smoked was a understatement. Worked like a dream though. Used a vacuum tube to pull a bottle of Seafoam into the intake slowly and let it sit for a half an hour. Started it up, ran it down the highway, and it runs better than it ever has. No more "misfire" symptoms.

FYI - Another great use for the Seafoam - Finding exhaust leaks!! I knew I had one, just didn't know where. When I opened the hood after I let the Seafoam sit for half an hour, I though it was on fire. Left side manifold to pipe is leaking like no tomorrow. Guess what I'll be doing next week?

Crawled underneath to look at the exhaust. It's all original. Decided I didn't want to install the muffler I bought yet and greased the u-joints instead.
